Pet Portraits - Dogs, Cats and Animals Your Own Photos - Rainbow Bridge by Isabel Clark - UK Artist

Pet Portraits Tributes Page for All our Lost Little Ones

For all those loyal and loving pets who have shared their time on this Earth with us and who now wait for us at Rainbow Bridge

When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water and sunshine and our furry friends are warm and comfortable.

All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigour; those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again - just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by.

The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing, they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.

They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His or her's bright eyes are intent as their eager body quivers with anticipation and joy. Suddenly he or she begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, as their legs carry them faster and faster.

You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the familiar beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your furry companion, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.

Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together.......

BACK

I thought it would be nice for all those pet owners who have lost a pet to pay a little tribute to their loved one, so please do not hesitate to send me a photo of your pet with your tribute.  Long tributes may have to be cut down to allow more pet owners to have their tribute on the page so I would be very grateful if you could keep your tribute to just a few words.  Thank you so much.

"Still so gently o'er me stealing,
Mem'ry will bring back the feeling,
Spite of all my grief revealing,
That I love thee, that I dearly love thee still."
- Opera of La Sonnambula -

And when the stream
Which overflowed the soul was passed away,
A consciousness remained that it had left
Deposited upon the silent shore
Of memory images and precious thoughts
That shall not die, and cannot be destroyed.
 -
William Wordsworth -

God's finger touched him and he slept.
- Lord Alfred Tennyson -

Because I could not stop for death, He kindly stopped for me;

The carriage held but just ourselves and immortality.

- Emily Dickinson -
1830-1886, American Poet
